About me

My Path As A Therapist

From 2015- 2022 I raced as an elite triathlete finishing in the top 20 at multiple national events. Training for this was difficult and time consuming with training weeks in excess of 30 hours a week. During this time I had multiple injuries and always found the treatments interesting.

In 2020 I went to Leeds Beckett University to study Sport and Exercise Therapy. This was a truly great experience and I had many opportunities to further my knowledge of injury treatment and rehabilitation.

During this time I spent a season with Sheffield Wednesday 1st team where I got to experience many different injuries and treatment techniques.

I also got to work with the England Rugby League Women’s Team during their World Cup. Assisting them with any injuries, recovery from games and preparing them for the rest of the tournament.

Since graduating I have become Barnsley Women’s First Team Sports Therapist. This job has allowed me to carry on progressing my skills by providing treatments to players, injury diagnosis and creating bespoke rehabilitation plans.

I have also worked with Progress Wrestling, Loughborough University, Rotherham United Academy and Matlock Town FC. Giving me a wide range of knowledge across many sports and injuries.
